Synergy and Collaboration
Collaborations
Optivia highly values collaborative efforts on advancing transporter biology research and expanding the utility of transporter assays in drug discovery and development.
Optivia is collaborating with Professor Leslie Z. Benet’s group at University of California, San Francisco. Funded by a joint NIH grant, this collaboration aims to evaluate the roles of transporter proteins, and the interplay between transporters and CYP enzymes on drug disposition in the liver.
Optivia also has a pilot program with a government regulatory agency on studying liver transporter polymorphism and its effect on statin drug transport.
For information on collaborating with Optivia, please contact us at (650)324-3177 ext. 11.
